Our client is a long-standing, well-established Education provider in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. Offering great pay, modern offices and a hybrid arrangement, this organisation is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Officer that can also help them with Purchasing Officer duties while their current AP officer is on leave. **Your new role**

Reporting to the financial accountant you will be responsible for:

- End-to-end accounts payable duties
- Ensuring continuos development and maintenance of accounts payable processes and policies
- Accurately review and release purchase orders
- Provide advice, training and support to staff to enable them to raise or approve purchase requisitions.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a similar position
- Experience with FinanceOne (TechOne) is highly desirable
- Previous experience in the Education sector is highly desirable
- Ability to use judgement and work autonomously with mínimal supervision required
