Our Engineering team has a great casual opportunity available for a suitably qualified Teacher, with relevant industry qualifications and experience to effectively deliver and assess Vocational Education and Training in Fabrication.

We pride ourselves on delivering a great range of TAFE courses from short courses to nationally accredited training across apprenticeships, traineeships, certificates, diplomas, and advanced diplomas, which can lead our students to a great career or create pathways to university.

**Skills & Experience**:
Successful completion of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.

A degree, diploma or other approved tertiary qualification in a relevant vocational area to enable to teach across any of the following courses/disciplines:

- Certificate III in Engineering
- Certificate IV in Engineering
- VET courses

(NB: The appointee must be able to demonstrate the vocational competencies at least to the level of those delivered)

Demonstrated current knowledge, relevant skills and industry/commercial experience including:

- Fabrication and Welding - Mig & Tig (Code stand desired)
- Steel and metal industries

Demonstrated capacity to design, deliver and assess vocational education and training programs that meet the needs of a range of learners.

This position requires current Working with Children check.

The Gordon is a Child Safe Organisation.
