**General Services**
The General Services department at the **Victorian Heart Hospital **supports all areas and includes Patient Services Assistant and Environment Services teams. These teams are customer focused and take personal pride in delivering an outstanding service.
**Environmental Services Assistant - New Positions**
Fantastic new Environmental Services Assistants roles to work across all departments at the heart hospital and a valued team member of wider Monash Health Support Services team.
**Key responsibilities include and not limited to**:
- Environmental cleaning including bathroom, toilet and in specialised areas
- Waste collection, linen transportation and manual handling
- Internal and external detailed cleaning
- Project and unscheduled ad-hoc cleaning
- A “Can Do” attitude with the capability to problem solve and troubleshoot
- A positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
- Genuine interest in being part of the care team providing exceptional services
- Effective organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
- Flexible approach to working in all areas as required
- Able to work unsupervised and can also take direction
**Now Hiring New ESA Positions below**:
Position 1 - Saturday and Sunday 6.30 - 15.00 _(32 hours per fortnight)_
Position 2 - Tuesday and Wednesday 14.30 - 23.00 _(32 hours per fortnight)_
Positon 3 - Monday to Thursday 22.30 - 07.00 _(64 hours per fortnight) _
Position 4 - Monday and Tuesday 15.00 - 23.30 _(32 hours per fortnight)_
Position 5 - Monday - Friday 14.30 - 23.00 _(76 hours per fortnight)_
- Position 6 - _Saturday and Sunday 22.30 - 07.00 _(32 hours per fortnight)_

**About You**
You are excited to work at the brand-new heart hospital, have a strong customer focus and take personal pride in ensuring our state-of-the-art heart hospital is presented well and cleaned according to the required standards.
To ensure your success in this role, you will have the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Certificate III in Cleaning Operations?(_Desirable)_
- Understanding of infection prevention cleaning processes within a healthcare environment
- A high standard of demonstrated experience in customer service
- Able to undertake physical work including lifting, carrying and manual handling
- Great time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
