With a creative and entrepreneurial flair as well as an outstanding work culture, this Luxury/Premium Homewares organisation that predominantly markets and sells to major department stores as well as Independent Homeware Retailers Australia wide is continuing to grow and enhance its premium product categories nationally. As a result of this exceptionally strong growth, this organisation with very well-known global brands is now seeking either a Marketing Manager or Senior Brand Manager that has the capability of ‘stepping to the next level’ and further develop strategies for these highly visible categories that have significant growth and scope.
- Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and working closely with the Senior Executive Leadership group, you will be responsible for leading and directing Brand Marketing and Communication strategies (both digital/online as well as traditional mediums) together with leading the Marketing team. You will correspond and work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to keep them informed of key Marketing related plans and outcomes including campaign production, brand awareness, new range uptake and Trade Marketing. These will include internally the Buying and Product, Sales, Finance, Warehouse/Supply Chain and Logistics teams as well as the Senior Executive group. Externally you will be liaising with key Retail Customers, Media and various related marketing agencies, International Suppliers and Factories (mainly in China and Europe) and the end consumers to communicate new products and promote the activities of the organisation that maintains and improves upon the positive image of the brands, products and culture associated with this well-established business that is steeped in tradition.
- You will be tertiary qualified and MUST have similar experience as either a Marketing Manager or Senior Brand Manager level preferably within either the Wholesale Consumer Goods/FMCG or Retail sectors and E-Commerce experience maybe considered. You will have superior leadership, strategic and operational capabilities, together with strong Brand Marketing and Communications experience in both Traditional and Digital mediums. You will also have a strong ability to multi-task, together with exceptional commercial acumen, where you understand and manage key P & L drivers. Finally, with a high level of drive and initiative, a preparedness to take on additional responsibilities when required as well as an ability to build rapport when it comes to collaborating with cross functional teams and to work in an environment that changes frequently will ensure you are strong contender for this outstanding newly created position.
