The Strategy & Performance (S&P) function contributes to the COO strategy by providing leadership and governance on the COO’s strategic agenda. We do this through the end to end delivery of strategic projects/programs, ensuring the health of all the programs in our portfolio, and governing our cost/benefit targets across the COO.

Within the S&P function, your team is the Portfolio Performance Delivery Assurance team supporting the Financial Crime Operations and Transformation area including the Program of Action (PoA). The purpose of the Financial Crime (FC) Program of Action (PoA) is to build and enhance sustainable and effective financial crime capability and operations, ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and effective risk management. The scope covers the entire CBA group and all jurisdictions in which it operates. Your team, the Portfolio Performance Delivery Assurance, acts as central point of governance, control and co-ordination to promote and drive effective and efficient execution, management and oversight of the delivery of workstream scope and regulatory commitments.

This is a permanent role based in Sydney with the team coming into the office two days a week.

In this role

You will be reporting to the Executive Manager within COO Portfolio Performance, as a Delivery Optimisation Manager where you will be responsible for driving interlocks and the annual and quarterly planning across the portfolio to ensure effective delivery of Financial Crime Change.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving strategic portfolio planning and business review to deliver a balanced portfolio with a clear roadmap to meet strategic financial crime business goals & objectives- Working with stakeholders to drive ongoing interlocks and management risks, issues, blockers and dependencies to ensure integrated, efficient and effective portfolio delivery- Liaising with Control Tower to integrate benefits, outcomes & roadmap into the broader Financial Crime strategy- Consulting and facilitating the elicitation of information from other teams to present a clear view of all lenses for decision making & monitoring of the portfolio- Conducting ongoing reviews of the portfolio using multiple lenses and providing recommendations on potential risks/issues and suggestions to optimise the portfolio- Leading and facilitating improvement-based workshops to drive ideas and solutions to reduce waste and non-value add activities in order to optimise processes and deliver further efficiencies- Produce leadership reporting (scheduled and ad hoc) for the effective monitoring & management of the project portfolio- Adhere to the Code of Conduct

We are interested to hear from people who have:
- Demonstrated experience working in program or portfolio delivery- Strong track record of stakeholder management consulting experience- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Strength in analysis, problem solving and business solutions.- Demonstrated experience in managing and achieving results in complex change projects ideally relating to technology solutions and/or business processes in a complex banking organisation- Strong MS Office suite skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)- Experience in Financial Services and/or Financial Crime is highly advantageous-Sidekick
