We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA's largest maternity and obstetric service.

**About the Department of Paediatric Anaesthesia**

**The Department of Paediatric Anaesthesia** at the **WCH** provides elective and emergency anaesthesia for over 12,000 procedures per year, a 24 hour trauma service and an acute pain management service.

We are the only tertiary paediatric anaesthesia department in South Australia providing elective and emergency anaesthesia for over 12,000 procedures per year, a 24 hour trauma service and an acute management service.

**The Opportunity**

We currently have multiple exciting opportunities to join the **Surgical Services - Anaesthesia** team as an **Consultant** or **Senior Consultant, MD2** on an **ongoing** **contract **in a** part time or full time **capacity.

**WCHN Paediatric Anaesthesia Consultants** provide safe, effective and efficient anaesthesia and acute pain management for children, the service is delivered with a patient focus equally to public and private patients.

**WCHN Paediatric Anaesthesia Consultants **anaesthetise children for all paediatric surgery subspecialties excluding complex cardiac surgery. We are closely allied with our colleagues in the Department of Women's Anaesthesia.
