Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is partnering with Gardner Denver Industries to offer a dedicated individual a **Mechanical Fitter Apprenticeship**.

Located in Wetherill Park, our client is a market leader in manufacturing highly engineered products including compressors, blowers, liquid ring vacuum pumps and fluid transfer products.

**To secure this role you will need the following skills and personal attributes**:

- Enjoy working in a team and be highly motivated
- Demonstrate initiative and be motivated in the workplace
- Positive attitude to workplace safety
- Eagerness to learn new skills

**You will be completing a Certificate III Engineering Mechanical and be trained in the following areas**:

- Examining and understanding detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task
- Operate and adjust metalworking machines to create parts or tools by turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding, or drilling metal stock or components.
- Using various techniques which include welding, bolting, and riveting to align, assemble, and fix pieces together to create parts and structures.
- Set up and operate hand and machine tools and welding equipment.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools, or sub-assemblies

**Mandatory requirements**
- Must be an Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia

Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is a Group Training Organisation who employs apprentices and trainees and places them with Host Organisations.
