The Human Resources (HR) Unit delivers strategic and operational HR expertise to all staff at UNSW Canberra.

**Responsibilities**:
The HRO is part of the Human Resources Business Partnering team and will involve the delivery of generalist HR Services to UNSW Canberra. As a HRO you will aide the administration and coordination of generalist HR advice, policy and procedural implementation and compliance requirements under the defence contract. You will engage in a variety of HR operational tasks throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment process' and have the opportunity to be part of exciting HR projects and initiatives.

**Who You Are**:

- have previous experience in HR.
- be quick to adapt to new situations and embrace change.
- have strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a challenging environment.
- be personable and have the ability to work as part of an enabling team.
- be able to communicate orally and in written form when responding to queries and providing advice to internal/external stakeholders.
- have end to end recruitment experience (_desirable_).
