Great opportunity to join a successful Mining, Engineering and Manufacturing business in the Northeast area, This well-established company has a strong stable history in the Mining and Manufacturing Sector.

This position is responsible for the management of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Assurance systems across the business.. You will be responsible for driving the '˜safety first' culture by overseeing all workplace health and safety strategy and initiatives.

The role will champion work health and safety engagement at all levels of the business by continuing to coach and enhance the clients capability and resilience in practices and systems that support and protect the health and safety of their team. This includes looking at Procedures & Policies, Conduct Hazard & High Risk Assessments, and ideally have a Full understating of ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015 & HAZCHEM.

This is a new position that will involve various tasks. It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the section to keep up with demand. The role is suited to an applicant who is detail and task-focused, can multitask and thrives in a busy work environment.

**TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS**:

- **Tertiary education.**:

- **Experience in SHEQ within Mining and or Manufacturing**:

- **Risk assessment exp.**:

- **ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & OHAS 18001**:

- **Environmental exp within Manufacturing / Mining Industry**:

- **Implementation & Auditing**:

- **Experience in HAZCHEM risk control**:

- **Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)**
