THE PIANO & MUSIC JUNCTION PTY LTD trading as Sky Music, we’re a store run _by_ musicians, _for_ musicians. We bring a wealth of knowledge across every instrument that we stock because we use the instruments accessories and amplifiers we sell Our advice comes from a place of passion, for our own music and a love for helping people find their voice on an instrument - whether that be piano, guitar, bass, drums or another from our growing range of string, brass and woodwind instruments. We cater to players of all levels, because we’ve all been beginners ourselves. We are now seeking a skilled Sound Technician to join our busy team of musicians.

As a Sound Technician you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

- Prepare and set up sound equipment such as microphones, speakers, amplifiers, mixing consoles, projectors, video screens, video conferencing systems and other related gear

according to the requirements of the production
- Adjust sound levels, equalisation and other audio effects to achieve the desired sound quality
- Maintain and clean equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and longevity, and coordinate repairs or replacements when necessary
- Design, repair and revitalise musical instruments and spare parts, tailoring and fine-tuning them to meet the unique preferences
- Selecting and setting up camera equipment, lighting, cables according to the requirement of the production
- Fixing and solving technical problems
- Working closely with directors, producers and artists to decide on music and sound requirements.
- Carrying out post production tasks such as mixing and mastering accordingly for the requirement.
- Running productions from start to end collaboratively with other departments.

**Required Skills and Experience**:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

At least two years’ work experience

Strong analytical and time management skills

Has strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong focus on customer engagement

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
