As a long-established, leading Aged Care provider, our client is committed to delivering exceptional care and support to its residents. An exciting opportunity has become available to play a key role in driving their person-centred care model and leading care delivery.
As Clinical Leader, you will work as part of the leadership team to oversee clinical care planning and delivery. Your motivating people leadership approach will ensure the clinical and care teams can deliver amazing, resident-centred care which promotes wellbeing and belonging for residents and their families.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Working closely with staff and families to deliver effective, individualised care to 20-30 residents
- Driving the assessment, planning, delivery and monitoring of resident care, including clinical and allied health interventions, to optimise quality of life
- Leading, motivating and supervising a high performing care team incorporating Registered and Enrolled Nurses, and care staff
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality and accreditation requirements
- Providing clinical support, guidance and advice to management, and mentoring clinical staff
- Driving continuous improvement across policies, procedures, care delivery and the overall work environment
- Minimum of 2 years senior clinical nursing experience
- Demonstrated experience in comprehensive clinical assessment and planning
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in driving the performance of staff, optimising care delivery and leading clinical best practice
- Experience in promoting compliance with industry and regulatory standards
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Leadership experience within an Aged Care environment, including knowledge of Aged Care funding instruments, is desirable but _not essential._
