Specialist Commercial Advisor

Golding is currently seeking a Specialist Commercial Advisor to be based on site for an upcoming civil project located in Southeast Queensland

Golding is a successful mining, urban and civil infrastructure project management services business with projects and operations across Queensland and South Australia. We are reliable and cost effective, working hard to achieve successful outcomes for our clients by working with them in ways that create and deliver value.

**Key role tasks**:

- Lead the contract and site administration team to achieve safe, efficient and cost-effective outcomes;
- Implement, administer and monitor the authorised Golding system for managing suppliers/subcontractors that provide services to the project;
- Provide contractual and commercial advice supporting the Project Manager relating to Golding’s contractual scope of work and in the administration of contracts with suppliers/subcontractors;
- Identify divergence from contract scope and resolve interpretation issues with the Client or escalate unresolved issues to your Manager; and
- Work with the Client to resolve conflicting demands for Golding resources stemming from their action.

**Key capability requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a related field are highly preferred;
- Demonstrated strong commercial skills;
- Demonstrated ability to solve multiple complex matters simultaneously;
- Experience in civil project environments in Australia is preferred;
- Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) demonstrating the ability to interact with internal customers, external stakeholders and clients.
