**About the role**

We are seeking a world-class educator to inspire the next generation of Podcasting & Social Media students by joining our team of teachers on a permanent part-time (17.5 hours per week/0.5 FTE) basis located at Ultimo Campus, with travel to other campuses.

In this role you will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes. Share your passion for podcasting and social media through teaching students to write, plan, record, produce and present content for radio and other digital platforms. Lead students to be creative with sound bites as you teach them editing and production skills using industry equipment to build a strong foundation to continue their podcasting and social media journey.

**Essential requirements**:

- Aboriginality
- Hold the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week ‘Paid to Learn’ course.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience relevant to your industry.
- Experience storytelling and writing stories for a range of media. Experience and knowledge in multiple social media platforms as well as research, interviewing and mobile journalism skills. Ability to edit video and audio content for a fast turnaround. Skills at presenting to camera or on radio as well as the capability to plan and produce a range of content using tools such as Adobe Audition, CapCut, Canva or equivalent.
- Highly Desirable: knowledge, skills and experience working in a media environment including radio broadcasting, newsroom, live streaming, video production studios. Proficiency editing on smart phones as well as knowledge and experience with associated programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro and any AI software for video, images, audio and writing.
