**A little bit about the company**:
Our client is a private development and property group that has a strong reputation on the NSW Central Coast. This group acquires land, redevelops, and manages the tenancies of the end product. With a focus on medical, industrial and commercial office suites their portfolio is varied in asset type, and location. This group are continually buying and developing new assets so are looking for a highly skilled commercial portfolio manager to come on board to accommodate their future growth plans.

**What will you be doing in this role**:
Reporting to the Director this role will see you lead the property management department that consist of 2 direct reports. You will also manage your own portfolio of 25 tenancies across two commercial office towers.
- Manage all aspects of your portfolio from leasing to make good
- Support the team with day to day queries
- Assist with onboarding new managements and tenancy strategies
- Chair weekly team meetings
- Carry out routine inspections
- Meet with contractors onsite to review maintenance issues
- Maintain a positive relationship with tenants
- Monitor lease expiry and rent reviews
- Initiate the renewal of leasing arrangements as required
- Assist in negotiating new leases
- Proactively market vacant assets to secure tenants
- Follow up arrears
- Manage operating expenses of the portfolio
- Manage any potential cost over runs
- Produce regular reports on portfolio performance
- 5+ years managing a commercial portfolio
- Proven leaderships skills and the ability to support a team
- The ability to confidently read and interpret lease agreements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident negotiation skills
- An eye for detail
- Proactive and solutions focused
- Immaculate presentation
- A reliable car and valid drivers licence
- High levels of discretion to handle confidential matters
