Melbourne, Australia Disability Support Work Pty Ltd Full time

**Extra Information**
- Travel between sites may be required including outreach work within the Disability Support Work catchment.
- Occasional after hours and weekend work may be required.

**SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To be aware of all Disability Support Work’s policies and procedures.
- To perform all duties in accordance with Disability Support Work’s policies and procedures.
- To represent Disability Support Work and service user(s) in a professional and respectable manner.
- To be actively involved in corporate activities of the organisation, including:

- Finances
- Panning
- Quality Assurance
- Occupational Health & Safety
- Review and identify the changes needed in organisational processes and structures to be able to support individuals to achieve their ambitions.
- To develop new partnerships
- To strengthen the existing partnerships so as to ensure the continued growth and sustainability of Disability Support Work as a disability service provider.
- To ensure the opportunity for self-directed services are available to all clients and their families at Disability Support Work.
- Other duties as directed by the Director

**Essential Qualifications, Experience and Registrations**:

- Current Registration as a Social Worker eligible for membership of A.A.S.W. or equivalent
- At least 5 years counselling experience
- Current Victorian drivers licence
- Valid Working with Children’s Check (valid for 5 years from the date of issue) Satisfactory Police Check (valid for 3 years from the date of issue)
- Extensive experience working in a community setting including work with NDIS, and CALD, vulnerable clients and those with a disability
- Experience in co-designing, implementing, evaluating and sourcing innovative, responsive evidence based supports
- A demonstrated ability to drive and implement change
- Demonstrated knowledge of Client Directed Care principles and frameworks

**Desirable Qualities/Experience and registrations**:

- Ability to write clear, concise and informative reports
- Experience or understanding National Disability Insurance Scheme
- A relevant community language
- Experience facilitating and supporting students Knowledge of community support services

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.61 - $43.93 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 2 per week
