**What you’ll be doing**

**_Due to the nature of the work and our clients, you must be an Australian Citizen and located within Australia for this role. The role can be performed from anywhere within Australia, however there may be requirement for client site work and some travel from time to time._**

We are seeking experienced
**ERP Financial Consultant's** preferably with expertise in Open Office or IT Vision although this is not essential as full product training will be provided so if you have experience with other major ERP’s such as Microsoft, SAGE, Infor etc we encourage you to apply. A solid understanding of local government operations would be preferred, so if you have held senior Finance roles in Local Government, we would also encourage you to apply.

As an ERP Financials Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting financial systems and processes within local government organisations. Your role will involve analysing business requirements, configuring software solutions, providing training and support to end-users, and ensuring the successful implementation and optimisation of ERP financial modules.

**What your day might look life**:

- Consulting with local government clients to understand their financial management requirements and goals.
- Configure, implement, and customize ERP financial modules, specifically focusing on Open Office or IT Vision, to meet the needs of each client.
- Conduct thorough analysis of current financial processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of the ERP financial solution.
- Provide guidance on best practices in financial management and advise clients on process improvements and system optimisations.
- Conduct system testing, including functional and integration testing, to ensure quality and accuracy of financial modules.
- Develop and deliver training materials and workshops to educate end-users on system functionalities and promote user adoption.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ERP financial modules, working closely with the technical support team and vendors if necessary.

**What will make you successful in this role?**
- Two plus years as an ERP Financials Consultant, with a focus on Open Office, IT Vision, or other similar ERP software.
