**About the Investment & Technology Group**

The Investment and Technology Group delivers strategic oversight and management of DTPs operating and infrastructure budget, and provides commercial and information technology services to drive high performance and improved commercial outcomes for the State.

**About the Portfolio Management Office**

The Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is tasked with delivering an integrated approach to managing the Department's investment lifecycle. The PMO delivers strategic oversight of the Department's State Budget submission, enabling the effective prioritisation of investments in Victoria's transport network. Following funding allocation, the PMO provides portfolio assurance, governance and investment management of the DTP delivery program.

**About the Role**

The Manager, Investment Management position sits within the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for driving the integrated management of investments across the Department's infrastructure delivery program. Key activities will include management of a team that provides detailed analysis and authoritative advice on project funding updates and has the secretariat function for the Infrastructure Investment Management Committee and its associated processes.

**Position Outcomes**
- **Cost Pressures Management** - Has effectively managed the prioritisation and quantification of emerging cost pressures within the delivery program and communicated authoritative advice on the release of project and program contingencies (non-HVHR) and TEI variations and issues resolution.
- **Effective Governance** - Has provided oversight of Infrastructure Investment Management Committee processes to facilitate timely, accurate and consistent funding decisions within the infrastructure delivery program.
- **Stakeholder Management** - Has leveraged, built upon and created relationships within relevant executive stakeholders within the Department and with central agencies including the Department of Treasury and Finance and the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
