The Hospital in the Home (HITH) service is seeking a friendly, motivated and forward thinker to participate in the provision of safe, compassionate and person-centered care for our health care consumers.

The HITH Assistant in Nursing is an integral part of the HITH service, working in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality health care outcomes for our patients.

The HITH service specialises in providing care that avoids Emergency Department presentations, hospital avoidance and supports early discharge from hospital. HITH delivers Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) for patients requiring short term and long term IV antibiotics, supports early discharge of post operative breast cancer surgery patients, new home oxygen patients and supports early discharge and avoids hospital presentation with respiratory diseases.

**What you'll be doing**

HITH has multiple hubs over the Central Coast, therefore a drivers license is essential. Working closely with the Nurse Coordinator you'll be expected to work independently on tasks delegated, travel to different sites, collaborate well within a multidisciplinary team and manage a varied workload with competing priorities. The position will be required to work a 7 day rotating roster.
