Central Coast Local Health District has an exciting position available for an Assistant in Nursing within our Geriatric Inpatient Unit.

About You

  • You have completed HLT33115 Certificate III Health Services Assistance or have completed 1 or more years Training as an Undergraduate nursing student.
  • You possess recent experience relevant to the position speciality.
  • You have demonstrated ability to deliver high quality patient care.

Where you'll be working


The Assistant in Nursing - Geriatric Inpatient Unit role is based at Gosford Hospital, specialising in caring for older adult patients of the Central Coast.


The role involves providing direct care activities to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Assisting Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses with patient care interventions as directed, contributing to collect accurate health care information and maintain accurate health care documentation as required.
