Pipe Layer

Our client requires talented and dedicated pipe layers to join their team in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. If you possess expertise in stormwater pipes, drainage systems, and laser level operation, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:

- Lay stormwater pipes and drainage systems, ensuring accurate alignment and levels.
- Operate laser levels to establish precise elevations and maintain optimal drainage flow.
- Collaborate with a team of construction professionals to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Inspect and assess site conditions, identifying any potential issues or challenges.
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- Monitor project progress and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a pipe layer in civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of stormwater pipes, drainage systems, and laser level operation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in alignment and levels.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work well under pressure.
- A commitment to safety and the ability to adhere to relevant regulations.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

- Epping, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
