Little Cupcakes is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our dynamic floor team. As a Floor Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional experience while visiting our bakery. You'll be responsible for various tasks aimed at maintaining a clean, welcoming, and organized environment while delivering outstanding customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Customer Service:

- Greet customers warmly as they enter the bakery.
- Assist customers in selecting cupcakes and other products, providing information about flavors, ingredients, and pricing.
- Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Ensure all customer orders are accurately processed and packaged.
- Product Presentation:

- Maintain a visually appealing display of cupcakes and other baked goods throughout the day.
- Restock merchandise as needed to ensure availability for customers.
- Assist with decorating cupcakes and arranging displays as per company standards.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene:

- Keep the bakery area, including the front-of-house and back-of-house, clean and sanitized at all times.
- Regularly wipe down counters, tables, and display cases.
- Follow proper food safety protocols, including maintaining temperature logs and adhering to expiration dates.
- Team Collaboration:

- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Support other areas of the bakery as needed, including cashier duties or assisting with baking tasks.
- Compliance:

- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on product knowledge and company policies.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: Up to $28.05 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

**Benefits**:

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (preferred)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
