This team deliver support critical to Indigenous workforce demands to strengthen people capability. The Directorate requires APS4 contractors to support the successful delivery of support to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander personnel.

The APS4 Support Officer will be part of a team working in a fast paced environment, with a high volume of administrative processes such as inbox management, responding to general enquiries from Defence personnel and supervisors, supporting the organisation and facilitation of meetings, processing forms, gathering and tracking relevant data and other administrative tasks as required.

The Branch is seeking someone who is capable, flexible, resilient, and results oriented with a passion for driving cultural change. We are looking for a team player with a curious mindset and a proactive nature to work as part of a team to achieve Indigenous-focused organisational outcomes for the Agency.

To be successful as an APS4 Support Officer, you will need to have a strong administrative background, the ability to communicate effectively with various key stakeholders and a willingness to work collaboratively across the Directorate to achieve business objectives.

Experience working in other corporate related functions would be highly regarded (but is not essential).
- providing quality administrative support to manage programs and/or projects
- building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and using their feedback to shape delivery outcomes
- contributing to communications, for example Ministerial briefs, talking points, and committee papers
- working within established policies and practices
- working collaboratively within a team to prioritise and manage workloads to meet critical
