**About the role**

Are you a technician that is sick of the mundane work and looking to find a role off the tools that utilize your experience and allow you to work from home 2 days a week? Then click apply

Your first 6 weeks will be spent at headquarters located in Macquarie Park being trained. Don’t worry, no suit and tie are necessary either.

Once you are trained, you will be supplied with tools to be able to work from home 2 days a week

The office and team environment is fantastic, you will receive support and all the tools to be successful in this role. Work in a place where your opinion matters

**Duties**
- Qualified Mechanic for a minimum of 5 years
- Issue authority approvals for heavy vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance
- Assist with the Breakdown facility and be available for after-hours breakdown calls.
- Reconcile and process invoices relating to repairs
- Identify vehicles with poor service history, and notify the account management team to ensure the vehicle is serviced appropriately
- Ensure Warranty and/or Goodwill-Policy is sourced
- Maintain a professional harmonious relationship with the repairer network.

**Skills and experience**
- Qualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle / Plant mechanic
- Light Vehicle mechanics may be considered for the role
- Relevant experience with Commercial, EWP, Forklift, and Hydraulics.
- 2-3 years of service advisor experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manners.
- Ability to analyse problem situations.
