**We are seeking a detail orientated, dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit as a Data Manager**

The Southern Adelaide Local Health Network, in collaboration with the Flinders Medical Centre, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join the dynamic team of the **Cardiac Surgery Quality and Outcomes Department** as a Data Manager. This role is pivotal in supporting the FMC Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit (CTSU) through innovative clinical outcomes, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

**About the Role**:
As the Registered Nurse - Data Manager, you will be **responsible** for:

- Assessing individual patient needs and planning, implementing, and coordinating appropriate service delivery.
- Collaborating with other disciplines or agencies to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
- Conducting patient follow-up at one and six-month intervals post-surgery.
- Efficiently collecting pre
- and post-surgical patient data to contribute to the Cardiac Surgery Registry and CTSU Database.
- Proven experience in data entry and data management within a healthcare setting.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and an effective phone manner.
- Ability to conduct patient interviews in-person or over the telephone.
- Demonstrated ability to work under mínimal supervision, meeting project objectives effectively.
