Our government sector client is seeking an **AO7 Principal Employee Relations Advisor** for a six-month contract, based in Brisbane's inner southern suburbs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Draft, review, and update HR and ER policies to ensure compliance with legislation and operational goals.
- Develop engaging materials such as fact sheets and guides to support employees and managers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure policies reflect best practices and organisational values.
- Assist in implementing and communicating updated policies across the organisation.
- Continuously improve existing policies to align with industry standards.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Demonstrated experience in HR or ER with a focus on policy development and implementation.
- Strong writing skills to simplify complex concepts into clear, user-friendly content.
- Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with great attention to detail.
- A proactive, solutions-focused, and collaborative mindset.

**Highly Desirable**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Employee/Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Law, Business, or Public Policy.
- Experience working within government or public sector environments.
- Ability to work in a predominantly office-based arrangement (60/40 split).
