To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate broad experience in training and assessment practice, as well as a strong understanding of the compliance aspects of working within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). A background in traffic management is necessary however, those with mínimal experience and a great attitude may be considered.

The successful applicant will be trained and supported by one of Australia’s leading Traffic Management Trainers.

**Main responsibilities of the roles include, but are not limited to**:

- Conducting training and assessment of qualifications within area of expertise.
- Providing quality customer service within a training environment, including compassionate support to students throughout each learning stage.
- Demonstrate attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Validation and moderation of learning and assessment.
- Maintaining learner records and ensuring best practice in relation to compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring timely administration of learner results and other administrative requirements.
- Maintaining qualifications and vocational skills, as well as a commitment to ongoing professional development, including strong links with industry.
- Ability to work independently and within the Team.
- Contributing to build a culture that recognises diversity, flexibility and inclusiveness to enhance the quality of education and the workplace.
- Ensuring compliance with EEO and WHS policies and legislation requirements including actively promoting an equitable, safe and healthy working environment.

**Qualifications (Essential)**
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- RIIWHS205E Control traffic with a stop/slow bat
- RIICOM201E Communicate in the workplace
- RIIWHS201E Work safely and follow the WHS policies and procedures
- RIIWHS302E Implement traffic management plans
- CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry

**Qualifications (favourable but non-essential)**
- RIICWD503E Prepare traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes
- RIIRIS402E Carry out the risk management process
- RIIWHS303 Position, set up and program portable traffic control devices
- RIIWHS206 Control traffic with portable traffic control devices and temporary traffic signs
