We are seeking a Product Design Manager to join our team and guide the end to end platform experience and ensure alignment across the product and vision. This role will embody our customers' and brand voice to create delightful and cohesive user experiences. In this role, you’ll actively create and guide the design team's strategy for the platform, making sure all our product ideas align with one shared vision. You will pave the way for execution by adopting a pragmatic approach, balancing speed and impact. This role will will report to the Head of Product and UX and work closely with the Product Managers, Software Engineers, as well as lead the team in the practice of design.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working collaboratively to create and champion the design vision and practice for the RateMyAgent product
- Leading Product Design initiatives across the 5 product squads
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Designers
- Collaborating with Product Leads and Engineering Leads to make sure you’re prioritising the most important features
- Communicating future design directions with key stakeholders
- Providing clarity to your design team through clear articulation of vision and strategy, especially while going through periods of ambiguity or roadblocks

**About You**:

- You have experience as a Senior Product Design Manager / Director / Lead directing strategy and design across a team
- Strong design coaching and people leadership experience - you know how to make an impact through empowering, growing, and motivating your team of designers
- Extensive experience communicating with senior stakeholders and other specialties
- A track record of tackling complex problems and delivering simple, elegant solutions.
- You hold a high bar for designing clean, elegant, and usable designs.
- Deep understanding of how to uncover user needs through research and user empathy
- You enjoy a mix of strategy and working ‘on the tools each day’
- Experience working within a SAAS product would be desirable
- You've had extensive experience shipping digital products in the past and can show the impact that you have through your team in your portfolio
