**About Ku-ring-gai Council**

Located 16 km’s north of the Sydney CBD, the Ku-ring-gai area covers 84km2, is home to 124,000 residents and set in one of New South Wales’ most attractive natural environments.

**About the role**

**Duties**
- Preparation of assessment reports
- Representing Council in court, at panel meetings and on site meetings

**Skills & experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or a related discipline and substantial experience in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal skills with particular emphasis in the areas of consultation, negotiation and conflict management
