About the role

We’re seeking a Technical Writer - Asset management to support the development, implementation and maintenance of harmonised and best practice operations throughout the Transurban business including but not limited to Road Operations and Maintenance and Asset Management.

As our Technical Writer - Asset management, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work.

Day-to-day, you will:
- Responsible for developing as part of a working group, drafting asset management procedures and other technical documentation across maintenance, operations and engineering- Drive consistency and harmonisation of operations through working collaboratively with stakeholders across all of Transurban- Support the implementation of processes ensuring appropriate engagement and “buy-in” from the each region to ensure success- Research and investigate best practice operations either from internal operations or external operations. Determine the applicability and value benefit to each region

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Great communication and interpersonal skills - ability to interact and build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels- Ability to clearly articulate ideas and processes- Experience in asset intensive environments- Strong knowledge of Microsoft products and SharePoint- Understanding of operating processes and practices in Road Operations and/or Maintenance/Asset ManagementWith a career at Transurban, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits, including:
