The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and driven Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join our Talent Team. As a Graduate Recruitment Consultant, working part of a national team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end graduate recruitment process in our Sydney office.

This role is pivotal to the ongoing success of our graduate program and will see you driving our attraction, selection and development programs as part of the wider P&D team.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Managing the recruitment process of our annual summer clerk and graduates
- Leading graduate rotations and evaluation processes, working closely with P&D consultants
- Overseeing the smooth running of our summer clerkship and graduate programs
- Developing and maintaining CU's profile to be recognised as an employer of choice
- Maintain key external relations with target universities, law societies and associations
- Facilitate and lead discussions with key internal and external stakeholders
- Collaboration on national initiatives and projects.

What we are looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- 3+ years' experience in a generalist HR or recruitment position
- A minimum of 12 months experience within Graduate recruitment
- Degree qualified
- Be self-motivated with a positive and agile approach to dealing with situations
- An exceptional ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Confident presentation skills
- Strong communication and organisation skills; and
- High attention to detail.

The National People & Development team

With a presence in all our major offices, the National People and Development (P&D) team advises the business on all people initiatives, including talent management, employee relations, resourcing, recruitment (both graduate and lateral), remuneration, benefits, reporting and learning and organisational development.

This role sits within our Talent team, which is responsible for designing and delivering market-leading talent acquisition and retention initiatives and programs consistent with the Firm's people vision, culture and strategy.
