Principal Project Officer

About the role
The role of Principal Project Officer is to manage the delivery of large-scale mental health projects/programs to support enhanced mental health service delivery across West Moreton Health. The position will be pivotal in ensuring project objectives are met successfully and within defined timelines.
About you
- Demonstrated ability to manage the delivery of large scale complex projects and/or programs using project methodologies and tools.
- Demonstrated high level analytical, planning and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to critically analyse and interpret clinical and administrative data to inform mental health service improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated high level written communication skills including the ability to prepare high quality briefings, project documentation and complex reports.
- High level knowledge, or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, the mental health strategic frameworks, including the complex interrelationships within government, non-government and private sectors.
- Proven experience in successfully leading and managing staff and resources.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
