**THE OPPORTUNITY**

TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with minimum three years teaching experience in addition to current industry experience and knowledge in Interior Design, Graphic Design or Furniture Design. Join our team of teachers on a permanent part time basis at Lidcombe campus within the Western Sydney Region.

Our region represents a network of exceptional learning centres aimed at allowing students to express and develop their creative skills exclusively across campuses within Western Sydney.

The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling learners to achieve their desired outcomes.

**ABOUT YOU**

If you are passionate about sharing your extensive industry experience in either Interior Design, Graphic Design or Furniture Design and supporting the next generation of student learners at Lidcombe Campus. You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor learners, passing on your experience and knowledge, and you have demonstrated experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment, we want to hear from you

**To be successful in this role you must have**:

- Advanced Diploma or equivalent in a relevant design discipline i.e. Interior Design, Graphic Design or Furniture Design.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
