The Creative Design and Ideation team at Lidcombe campus are looking for creative and motivated individuals with current industry knowledge and experience in design to join their team as Education Support Officers on a casual basis.

As an Education Support Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to students to carry out tasks and understand their learning materials and concepts
  • Following up with students to encourage ongoing engagement and motivate and encourage the students to complete their tasks and activities
  • Supplements the teaching activities by providing followup instruction as provided by the teacher and opportunities to practice skills
  • Supporting the Teachers and Head Teachers in meeting compliance functions for TAFE NSW

If you have

  • Minimum qualification of Diploma in Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Furniture Design or related field
  • Highlevel interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be proactive and show initiative and ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and to provide quality customer service as part of a broader team
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritise workload as required
  • Ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline
  • Ability to understand and learn new processes and computer systems***
