**About the role**

Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) brings together the Royal Adelaide Hospital as a major quaternary facility, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a general hospital, and our rehabilitation hospitals Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre and St Margaret’s Rehabilitation Hospital. As a network CALHN will see approximately 140,000 separations a year and is responsible for delivering the some of the most complex activity in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

The Health Information Services Manager is responsible for leading the Health Information Services incorporating Medical Records and Clinical Coding. The incumbent will be required to plan, lead, co-ordinate, control and manage timely high quality and cost-effective improvement projects and provide expert recommendations and consultancy services on best practice operational services. The position provides authoritative advice, leadership and oversees and manages the coordination of operational outcomes for the Electronic Medical Records (EMR), including EMR documentation optimisation, facilitate high level communication, collaborate with clinical, senior management, executive and operational streams within SA Health

**Qualifications**
- Masters of Health Information Management or equivalent
- Eligible for full membership of HIMAA (Health Information Management Association of Australia)

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
