We’re looking for a Pricing Analyst who will effectively manage the pricing mailbox for the Suncorp Insurance brands for Home, Motor and Specialist Insurance Portfolio and act as a liaison for pricing and distribution areas for any pricing related enquiries. This role will provide operational support for pricing initiatives and pricing projects rollout.

This role is a _12-month contract_.

**What you’ll do**:

- Effectively manage the pricing queries escalation process for insurance products. Make sure the pricing queries are answered in appropriate manner within the agreed SLA with various distribution areas.
- Responsible of the resolution of a pricing complaint and provide outcome feedback to any complaint.
- Provide Analytical support for various pricing recommendations and price changes.
- Assist the pricing manager in investigating, developing and implementing any operational change required to enable real time identification of individual risk when delivering a price to them.
- Assist the pricing manager for the address database update process and working with other departments to effectively manage and implement the required changes.
- Prepare required pricing reports for distribution to key business stakeholders across various areas.
- Prepare ad-hoc as well as regular monitoring reports and analysis for tracking effects to business as a result of price adjustment.
- Maintain active liaison and relationship with internal stakeholder groups, particularly contact centre areas and within pricing teams.
- Assist the pricing manager in long term pricing projects.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Tertiary qualified in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or Actuarial fields
- Minimum 1 year experience in an analytically based role, preferably in Personal Insurance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Tableau
- Basic knowledge in programming software/languages (e.g. SAS, R, Python)
- A good understanding of insurance pricing is preferred
- Experience of Mainframe systems (e.g. Protect) is desirable
- Understanding of insurance database structures and data warehousing systems is desirable
- High level problem solving skills
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills
