Business Development Strategy

**Summary**:
We have a great opportunity for a highly motivated **Business Development Manager** reporting to the Director, Sales and Business Development - APAC. This position with work closely with the Regional Senior Management Teams in order to bring focus and attention to the growing market of Energy Transition across Australia, New Zealand and PNG. The initial purpose is to position Enerflex as a key provider of Energy Transition equipment to grow the Sales Pipeline as the market develops. In this position you would be based in Brisbane or Perth. To achieve this purpose, the following will broadly be required.
**About the opportunity**:
- Development of ETX marketing strategy for AU/NZ market
- Identification and engagement of ETX clients
- Seek out new ETX opportunities and qualify in line with EFX services.
- Maintain regular dialogue with existing Key Accounts
- Develop Account plan and map decision making team.
- Facilitate strategic meetings with Key Account Executives & EFX SMT / Executives
- Maintain regular internal engagement and ensure issues are identified and resolved.
**About you**:
- Engineering or Business Degree
- Minimum 5 to 10 years Sales or Business Development experience
- Experience in developing business opportunities and revenue in a growing and diverse market.
- CRM experience and reporting
- Confident presentation skills
- Ability to Cold Call and develop new relationships.
- Preparation of professional proposals
- Ability to work within the Business in order to develop competitively priced work to deliver agreed profitability.
- High levels of experience in contract negotiation
- High level of self-motivation and ability to plan work accordingly
- Ability to prioritise work and adapt to changing market needs.
