**ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Mercy Health has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Strategy and Planning leader to join the high-performing Strategy, Planning and Major Projects team for 12 months.
- Following the recent launch of the Mercy Health Strategic Framework 2023-27, you will support the roll-out of the framework across the organisation, and provide leadership in all related strategy and planning functions.
- You will guide the operational planning and reporting cycle, lead regular reviews of progress against strategic priorities, develop and monitor progress against strategic performance indicators, and provide leadership for key strategic projects. You will be instrumental in facilitating the development of strategy for Mercy Health’s Healthy Ageing division.
- The role includes a high level of collaboration with organisational leadership teams and preparation of briefing papers and presentations for the Mercy Health Executive and Board relating to strategy and planning matters.
- The role is based in Richmond with some travel to key health and aged care service sites required. Remuneration will be based on experience and includes salary packaging options.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Relevant post graduate tertiary qualifications in fields relating to business administration, aged care management, health services management, strategy and planning.
- Management experience in complex organization settings, such as public health services, government or aged care business.
- Strong commercial acumen and business writing skills, including the ability to prepare reports and business cases at a standard appropriate for organisational Executive and Board
- Experience leading the development and execution of organisational strategy and business planning processes.
