The People & Culture Systems and Data Advisor supports the delivery of People and Culture (P&C) initiatives and services by assisting the organisation to better establish and grow our people metrics, insights and reporting function.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Perform data extraction and manipulation of workforce data and prepare quality workforce information and reports in line with departmental and external reporting requirements.
- Prepare workforce data for a wide variety of stakeholders and provide advice and insights, on key issues and trends to support the development of key people strategies to build workforce capacity and capability.
- Consult and maintain effective working relationships with departmental and external stakeholders to ensure effective information sharing and the delivery of quality data, reporting and other services.
- Perform regular audits and cleansing of staff and establishment data, and data warehouse data to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
- Provide guidance, support to team members in building, reviewing, and improving systems and processes that contribute to optimal business and service delivery outcomes.

This is more than just a compliance and data reporting role; the key success measures for the role include the ability to:

- Develop and maintain excellent collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, in particular, the P&C, IT and Finance teams.
- Demonstrate proactive problem solving and the ability to set and achieve goals.
- Be inquisitive and engaging in your approach to understanding business requirements and confidently be able to translate these into technical reporting solutions; and
- Maintain a high attention to detail.

**The skills and experience you'll bring to the role**:

- Have proven experience in the development, preparation and presentation of reporting and business intelligence, ideally in the HR and people space.
- Possess advanced skills in Power BI and Excel, with the ability to pull and connect data from multiple sources and systems for reporting purposes.
- Be inquisitive and engaging in your approach to building business requirements with business users and confidently be able to translate these into technical reporting solutions.
- Able to manage conflicting priorities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and pragmatically with a structured (yet flexible) approach to solve problems and find outcomes that truly provide value to the customer.
