**Role Purpose**

The Sales Manager at Welcome to Thornbury is responsible for driving sales and managing client relationships for functions and events across our venues. This includes generating new business, coordinating with clients, and ensuring the successful execution of events.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Leadership**:

- Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to achieve high productivity and performance.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans that align with WTG’s goals.
- Deliver ambitious sales targets, monitor performance, and implement data-driven strategies.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless event coordination and delivery.
- Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and presentations for prospective clients.
- Work closely with clients throughout the event planning process from initial enquiry to post-event follow-up.

**Client Relationship Management**:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing tailored solutions.
- Leverage CRM software to manage client interactions and ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Monitor customer feedback to inform sales strategies and initiatives.
- Attend events as needed to oversee setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring client satisfaction.

**Business Development**:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the hospitality market.
- Represent WTG at industry events and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and establish partnerships.

**Marketing & Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns highlighting our unique offerings.
- Partner with like-minded brands and companies to promote functions and events.
- Ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field OR relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Expertise in CRM software, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven leadership ability with a track record of building and motivating high-performing sales teams.
- Exceptional sales acumen, negotiation skills, and a passion for achieving results.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong business sense and the ability to identify market trends.Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, and willingness to embrace change.
