**About the company**:
A leading mining services provider servicing the underground markets across NSW and QLD. Spearheaded by a strong leadership team and a clear vision, they are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to drive their next phase of growth.

**About the opportunity**:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you’ll be responsible for business development and the strategic commercial growth across the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include:

- **Relationship Builder**: Drive strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and business goals.
- **Financial Analysis**:Undertake financial modelling for business growth opportunities, including new contract opportunities and growth areas with existing contracts.
- **Operational Effectiveness**: Review existing operations and supplier agreements in order to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- **Risk Management**: Negotiate contracts and work within the company’s commercial risk parameters and business rules.
- **Strategic**: Contribute to the business’s strategic direction across NSW & QLD.

**About you**:
We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Manager who embodies the following experience and qualifications:

- **Influencer**: Skilled at identifying and influencing decision makers.
- **Negotiator**:A track recorded in establishing supply agreements whilst navigating commercial risks.
- **Analytical**: A data-driven approach and an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- **Collaborative**: Strong communication skills and an effective collaborator with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- **Qualified**:Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
