- Study for an accredited qualification: Certificate III in Sports Turf Management

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

As the Turf Management Apprentice you will learn how to:
Operate turf machinery, including cleaning and maintenance
Safely use fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides and insecticides and plant protectants.
Maintain grounds by trimming trees, cutting grass, watering plants and other gardening duties
Perform grounds maintenance including removing cuttings, raking leaves, cleaning and emptying litter bins and cleaning gutters, drains and culverts.
Undertake routine maintenance of turf, synthetic, artificial and other play surfaces
Perform repairs and minor renovation work involving carpentry and painting

**Job Requirements for this role**:

- A permanent right to work in Australia
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Good time management / organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team

**SALARY**

$21,500 - $30,000 plus 10.5% Superannuation
- National Training Wage Award
- Fully Funded Qualification

**MORE INFORMATION**
- This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver.
