Our Corporate Office is located on Queens Road in Melbourne. - A small team of about 35 people across Central Sales Reservations, National Sales, Revenue, Marketing, People & Culture, Property & Leasing and Finance
- Walking distance to public transport (train/tram), close to public car parks and have free & secure bike/scooter storage

**Responsibilities**

This is a sales-focused reservations role as part of our Central Sales & Reservations team. It’s an excellent chance for an energetic and ambitious individual with an eye for growth, team orientation, love for sales and a passion for hotels to join an equally motivated team

Key role responsibilities:

- Provide end-to-end reservations and sales support to guests and conference organisers
- Drive business by using your inquisitive nature to identify new sales leads, building strong relationships and optimising production of allocated accounts
- Warm & cold lead qualifying via phone
- Create brand loyalty through courteous, efficient and professional customer service and awareness of Veriu Membership
- Liaise with our hotel operations teams nationally to ensure a smooth experience for our guests and corporate travel arrangers
- Work towards departments goals and targets with passion and kindness

**About You**

We work in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same, so we’re looking for people who are adaptable, enjoy variety and operate with an ownership mindset.

The successful person must have:

- Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
- Demonstrated experience in a sales, reception or customer service environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships
- Excellent communication (written & verbal)
- High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidence to make/take phone calls
- The ability to travel to our hotels to complete site inspections as part of your onboarding (this will require one or two interstate overnight trips)
