This opportunity will play an integral role in our business as we grow our presence in the ACT and embark on exciting projects in both private and public sectors.

**The Opportunity**

As the Team Lead for our Canberra Landscape Architecture Team, you’ll be responsible for leading and managing projects across the region as well as developing and mentoring the team. You’ll be exposed to a wide range of integrated projects and enjoy true diversity in your work. This role will see you:

- Taking the lead on all phases of a project from master planning through to contract administration including concept design; tendering, preparation of design development and construction documentation and site visits
- Proving input into design direction, documentation and implementation.
- Carrying out design of civic precincts, green-field residential development, commercial projects, urban renewal, parklands, major infrastructure projects, and integrated water-cycle management.
- Liaise closely with clients and stakeholders to win work and continue business growth
- Collaborating with Landscape Architects and other planning and engineering professionals across the business.
- Providing mentoring and support to junior team members

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**About You**

A qualified and registered landscape architect, you are experienced in managing medium to large scale projects and are ready to step up into a new challenge of leading and growing a small team. You will come to us with:

- Demonstrated client management and business development skills in a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment
- Experience with public and private sector clients, ideally within a national business operating across multiple locations
- Outstanding graphic communication skills coupled with a strong focus on design.
- Well-developed commercial skills, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures, and experience taking commercial responsibility for projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead, with good influencing, motivating and delegation skills
- Registered, or in the process of being registered, with AILA.
