Mater Research are looking for a Research Support Officer to join the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Stillbirth team This maximum-term (12 months) part-time role (0.8 FTE) will be based at our South Brisbane campus.

**Salary range: $55,332 -$61,971 (part-time equivalent) plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900**

**What you’ll be doing**

You will provide comprehensive project support for the national IMPROVE workshops from planning to execution, under direct supervision of the IMPROVE National Coordinator.
- Assist in coordinating workshop logistics, including liaising with local site coordinators,, participant registration, educator correspondence, and travel arrangements for educators and attendees.
- Coordinate the monitoring and tracking of project milestones, budgets, and expenditure, ensuring adherence to allocated resources.
- Manage administrative tasks related to the program, such as maintaining databases, filing systems, coordination documents, program accreditation and correspondence with stakeholders.
- Assist with project evaluation and the preparation of progress reports
- Assist with ethics and governance submissions as required
- Providing general administrative services and support to the research team as required

**About you**

You will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health, health sciences, social sciences) required; Master's degree preferred. You will also meet the below criteria:

- Proven experience in project coordination, preferably within a research or healthcare setting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with report writing, and/or formatting of research publications
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management tools.
