A leading government agency based in **Parramatta**/**hybrid** is seeking a **Project** **Officer** for a contract until **December 2024.**

The role undertakes project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects, including _research, analysis_ and _procedure_ _development_.

**Key responsibilities for this role include**:

- Provide a range of _project_ _management_ and support services including preparation of _reports_ and _briefs_, _coordinating_ _resources_ and maintaining _project documentation_
- Monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on _budget_, to quality _standards_ and within agreed scope
- Undertake research, evaluation and analysis to identify emerging issues and prepare recommendations to resolve policy or process issues
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups

**Key requirements for this role include**:

- _Tertiary qualifications_ in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Experience working with **government** agency's
- **Academic** or **research** experience would be highly regarded
- Experience in **housing** (such as **planning**, **policy**, **development**, etc) is nice to have
- Excellent communication and written skills
- This is a great long term contract ready to bring on their missing part of the team ASAP._
