**About the Role**:
As an Employment Consultant you will use your skills to support and guide clients to attain suitable, meaningful employment opportunities that lead to sustainable employment outcomes. You will use your customer service skills to build rapport with your clients, assist them on their employment journey and to overcome barriers to employment.
- Developing and maintaining relationships key stakeholders as part of managing the referral & intake process of job seekers into their chosen program with MatchWorks
- Assessment of job seeker skills, abilities, identification of barriers and intervention strategies
- In consultation with our job seekers, develop and maintain work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions (including other service providers) and employment support activities
- Reverse marketing of job seekers to achieve sustainable employment opportunities
- Provide pre-employment assistance through vocational counselling, training, job search skills, and work trials/work experience to increase capacity for employment

**About You**:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic **Employment Consultant**. We are after someone who can provide a high level of customer service and engagement to assist those in the community with various barriers to employment to find suitable work. This is an exceptionally rewarding position where no two days will be the same. In your past roles you have demonstrated exceptional customer care with an ability to maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and peers. You have demonstrated resilience and the ability to work in a fast-paced working environment whilst being outcome focussed and KPI driven.
- Ability to maintain effective relationships with peers, clients and relevant key stakeholders for the purpose of gaining and maintaining sustainable employment opportunities for our clients
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and resilience to conflicting situations
- Demonstrated high level professionalism, compliance and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and workloads effectively to business priorities in a challenging environment
- A good understanding of the labour industry
- Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening check or are willing to obtain one

This role is set primarily out of the Frankston office and the Pakenham office. Located just opposite Frankston Beach, the** Frankston** office is an idealic place to work Frankston is a very busy and vibrant suburb that boasts culture and tourism. As soon as you step outside the office doors you are greeted with terrific views, bustling life, and a great community The Frankston site has a variety of clients and great culture - you'll never have a dull moment at this office
