This newly created HR Manager role is a greenfield opportunity to grow and develop a small team and the HR function. Managing all aspects of the HR life cycle, this role has two direct reports. Building on existing HR infrastructure to further develop policies, procedures, remuneration strategy and people capability, you will love the buzz of this growing business as it capitalises on its success to date.

Responsibilities include:

- Provide strategic HR advice to the business including senior leaders
- Provide advice on employee relations issues
- HR reporting including HR analytics
- Workforce planning. Organisational design. Workplace change
- HR Projects
- Identify training needs and develop action plan for learning and development
- Lead the implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Work closely with key stakeholders across the business
- Team management and development

To be successful in this role you will be a Financial Services HR practitioner with a number of years of relevant industry experience. Insurance sector knowledge is desirable but not essential. You are a confident communicator, able to hold your own with big personalities. You have very strong recent working knowledge of the Australian HR industrial framework and legislation, including WHS. This role would suit an HR all rounder with some staff management or mentoring experience who is ready to step up into a managerial role. Ideally you are qualified with a relevant degree. You are an independent worker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
