**PART TIME (3 DAYS A WEEK)**

This role will have responsibility for managing the communication and promotion plan and all associated activities for Crown’s new business wide employee recognition program, as well as supporting the delivery of Crown Stories program communication via the sourcing and identification of appropriate award winners’ stories.

**Responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to**:

- Develop, deliver, and manage the delivery of a communications strategy and innovative, cost-effective plan that promotes employee recognition and ensures ongoing use of and engagement with the program across the business.
- Development on annual program of activities, events and promotions to raise awareness of the recognition program with key stakeholders and all employees.
- Identify and craft program key messages and research, write and coordinate production of promotional and educational materials for use by leaders, teams, and individuals.
- Work with the BAU Communications Team to utilise elements of their strategy as an opportunity for promoting and highlighting employee recognition, ensuring all key recognition activities and events are incorporated into the appropriate BAU communications channels.
- In conjunction with Recognition Site Coordinators, management of team mailbox to answer questions, respond to feedback, provide information, issue event invitations and distribute announcements as required.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients and suppliers.

**The following criteria will be considered when reviewing applicants**:

- Appropriate tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as communications, journalism, social science, public relations, marketing, English or related discipline.
- Five years professional experience in internal communication, journalism, or a media/public relation-oriented profession.
- Solid knowledge of and experience in a large corporate communication environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to plan and meet deadlines
- Well-developed interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with internal business partners
- Team player with proven ability to collaborate to achieve goals
