**YHA Australia** is seeking an experienced and passionate Application Support Specialist on
Reporting to the Senior Application Support Manager, you will be working within strategic and supportive Business Operations Department.
**The successful applicant will**:
- **System Support**: Provide assistance and support for our critical systems, including but not limited to Mews PMS, Square POS, Vostio key system, Salesforce, and MYBOS maintenance systems.
- **Training and Development**: Collaborate with team members of all levels across the organisation, providing support and training to enhance their system knowledge and troubleshooting skills. This includes conducting training sessions, assisting with problem-solving, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- **Documentation**: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of system documentation, including procedures, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
- **Routine Maintenance and Data Entry Processes**: Collaborate on routine system maintenance tasks and assist in managing data entry processes to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and data accuracy and integrity.
- **Project Assistance**: Work with project teams to gain experience in technical project support and documentation.
- **Working Hours and Out-of-Hours Support**:The role is primarily Monday to Friday during standard business hours, with occasional out-of-hours work required. You'll also participate in a monthly on-call rotation for IT support.
- **Site Visits**: As required, accompany senior team members on-site visits to gain practical experience in resolving technical issues and supporting stakeholders.
**To be considered for this role, you will have**:
- Experience with MEWS PMS is required. Familiarity with Square POS, Vostio key system, Salesforce, and MYBOS maintenance systems would be advantageous.
- Not for profit background or donor understanding would be advantageous.
- Confidence with MS Teams, Sharepoint, Jira, and Helpdesk.
- An influential leader, able to manage, advise, mentor, educate and influence stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills.
- Sound administration and organisational skills, logical mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining and upgrading skills in self and team to ensure best practice and match industry pace.
