- Pay: From $35 - $40 per hour depending on experience

A kind, loving and professional family in Byron Bay are seeking a warm and nurturing nanny to care for their happy, creative and active children, 8 yr old girl & 5 yr old boy.

**The days and normal hours are:

- 3 days - 9 hours**

**Potential of extra days in the future, additional hours over school holiday periods and occasional weekend work**

Tuesday 2.30pm - 5.30pm

Wednesday 2.30pm - 5.30pm

Thursday 2.30pm - 5.30pm

An ideal nanny will be fun and have positive energy though also caring, calm and nurturing. A nanny who enjoys engaging and being active and creative. You will need to show initiative, be a good listener/communicator follow the children’s routines/schedules and provide stimulating and creative activities.

A nanny that is engaging, supportive and caring, enjoys working with children and genuinely interested in the children’s lives and well-being.. The family are looking for a nanny to stay long term, to build a lovely bond with their children and become part of the family.

The nanny must be comfortable with mum working from home in a separate space.

The role will consist of mostly caring for the children. The children attend school nearby and the nanny will be required to do school pick up. Unpack lunchboxes, provide afternoon tea, craft activities, reading, supervising children in the pool, walks to the park and generally tidying up after the children.

**The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows-**
- To care for the children
- Follow children’s routines/schedules
- School pick up
- Unpack school bags, lunch boxes
- Prepare afternoon tea
- Craft activities, reading
- Supervise children in pool
- Assist with some light household duties, washing and folding family laundry (if time permits, priority is interacting with the children)
- Generally keeping main areas clean and tidy

**The family's expectations from their nanny are-**
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny/child care experience
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children's check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active
- NSW Drivers licence and clean driving record
- Own car preferred but not essential
- Honest and reliable
- Non smoking
